MY FAVORITE TRAVEL APPS

My latest trip is Philippines but I still have not had time to write my Philippines trip (I promise to finish my writing about Philippines soon). In this post I want to share information about my favorite travel apps. We all have dreams, but which one do we want to catch our dreams or make it still a dream? Here are my favorite travel apps:

Skyscanner

This app could help you to find the cheapest flights, hotels and car rentals. So in this application has 2 features, namely search and explore. Search feature to find the cheapest flights, hotels and car rentals on the dates you want. There is available roundtrip and one-way options. And explore features to help find the cheapest flights from your location to any destination, available roundtrip and one-way options. I suggest you to sign up to make it easier for you, you could also set the currency and language you want to use.

Traveloka

This app now has various features like flights, hotels, trains, flight + hotels, top-up & data packages, attractions & activities, online check-in, airport transport, international data plans, airport train, ongoing promos, price alerts, budget rooms, last-minute hotels. The first thing I usually do if I open a traveloka app is check out the “ongoing promos” feature. Traveloka always provide interesting promotions that could reduce your expenses for traveling. The "price alerts" feature is also one of my favorites, I would get notification when the flight I want down price. The "flight + hotel" feature is also helpful if you are looking for flight and hotel in one package, I tried this feature on my trip to Pontianak. I also love to buy credit balance for my phone in top-up features & data packages, the price is cheap and the process is also fast. I suggest you to sign up as a member because in addition to could facilitate you in the transaction, you would also get a point that you can redeem for flight or hotel.

Agoda

This app is my favorite as well to book a hotel, sign up as a member and connect between my AirAsia Big account with my agoda account, so everytime I book a hotel on agoda, then I would get a point for my AirAsia.

TripAdvisor

This app helps me find out what places of interest to visit in that city or country. And before I booked the hotel, I always read the hotel reviews on TripAdvisor. This app gives me an idea of ​​the country or city I'm going to visit.

Google Translate

This application is mandatory especially if you travel abroad, because the language is often a constraint if traveling to a country that is not all citizens are able to speak english.

Google Maps

This application is mandatory on the phone because this application is very helpful for me to estimate the distance and time required between one place to another.

Been

This app is to help you mark which countries you've visited so you could see the mark on the world map, this can motivate you to travel more.

AirAsia

AirAsia often gives interesting promotions, so I suggest you sign up as a member so you would receive a notification if AirAsia has a promo. In addition, you would also get points every AirAsia flight that you buy through this application, where the point you could redeem for free flight.

This app offers attractive prices for attraction tickets, car rentals or tour packages at various tourist destinations.
