Hello Guys, happy new year 2018 ya. Well, this time I would like to share my first trip of 2018 to Philippines. 

WHAT FLIGHT I WAS USING?

1.      From Jakarta (CGK Airport Terminal 2E) at 11.30 to Manila (NAIA Terminal 3) at 16.45 by AirAsia was charged IDR 1.251.007 for the ticket, vegetarian meal and checked baggage 20 kg. It was a direct flight and it takes 4 hours journey.

2.      From Manila (NAIA Terminal 4) at 17.40 to Puerto Princesa (PPS Airport) at 19.00 by AirAsia was charged PHP 2.339 (Rp 636.401) for the ticket and checked baggage 20 kg. It was a direct flight and it takes 1 hour 20 minutes journey.

3.      From Puerto Princesa (PPS Airport) at 20.30 to Cebu (Mactan Airport) at 21.45 by AirAsia was charged PHP 2.058 (Rp 576.775) for the ticket and checked baggage 20 kg. It was a direct flight and it takes 1 hour 15 minutes journey.

4.      From Cebu (Mactan Airport) at 21.25 to Manila (NAIA Terminal 4) at 22.50 by AirAsia was charged PHP 2.104 (Rp 584.579) for the ticket and checked baggage 20 kg. It was a direct flight and it takes 1 hour 25 minutes journey.

5.      From Manila (NAIA Terminal 3) at 08.00 to Jakarta (CGK Airport Terminal 2) at 11.00 by AirAsia was charged IDR 842.810 for the ticket and checked baggage 20 kg. It was a direct flight and it takes 4 hours journey.

So I spent IDR 3.891.572 for flights.

WHERE I STAYED?

1.      In Manila, I stayed at Kabayan Hotel Pasay from 10 to 11 January 2018 (a night). It was charged IDR 179.554 for female dormitory room with free breakfast, shared bathroom, and free wifi.

2.      In Puerto Princesa, I stayed at Islands Stay Hotels from 11 to 12 January 2018 (a night). It was charged IDR 307.739 for the classic double room with free airport transfer.

3.      In Cebu, I booked Southpole Central Hotel Cebu from 12 to 13 January 2018 (a night). It was charged IDR 371.613 for the superior room but I did not have time to sleep there due to delayed flight caused.

4.      From 13 to 14 January I slept at NAIA terminal 3 departure area for international flight

So I spent IDR 858.906 for accommodations.

Day 1

10 January 2018

Manila, Philippines

It was the first time I visited the Philippines.  The first day went less smoothly because my flight was delayed for 4 hours. Fortunately, the AirAsia party provides lunch compensation. I got to know Ester (Solo Traveler too), Daniel and his Mom at the boarding room. I should have arrived in the Philippines at 16.45 but because it was delayed so I got to the Philippines at 22.45.  The immigration process and baggage taking went well. After said goodbye to Ester, Daniel and his Mom, I headed straight to the Burger King to meet the driver from Kabayan Hotel. The hotel is not too far from the NAIA Airport. Upon arrival at the hotel, I immediately checked in. After I showered then I went to the hotel restaurant but it was closed so I just bought the mineral water bottle. Then I went back to my room and rested.

The cost on the first day was cash IDR 882.000 and PHP 540

1.      Balance credit to my phone IDR 600.000 for international package roaming (Telkomsel)

2.      Toll and Taxi from home to CGK Airport IDR 240.000

3.      Bread 3 pieces IDR 42.000

Day 2

11 January 2018

Puerto Princesa, Philippines

I woke up early, showered and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I sent a message to Ester and I asked her to explore Manila together. After breakfast, I packed my backpack and left it at the reception hotel. Then I went to Fort Santiago by Grab Car. I explored the Fort Santiago while waiting for Ester. I met Ester there. We walked and explored the Intramuros area. Then we had lunch at the KFC. After lunch, we went to SM Mall of Asia, the largest mall in Manila. We were shopping then I said goodbye to Ester. I went back to the Hotel, picked my backpack then went to the NAIA Airport. My flight was delayed again due to bad weather, this time delayed 2 hours. I arrived in Puerto Princesa at 21.00. I called the Hotel to ask where their shuttle car but the hotel staff said I could go to the hotel by taxi, I was immediately headed for an official taxi reservation because I was tired. I went to the hotel by taxi. From the airport to the Islands Stay Hotels was PHP 200. When I arrived at the Islands Stay Hotels, the receptionist asked how much the taxi fee and they gave me PHP 200 for changed my taxi fee. I got a room on the second floor. The room was clean with 2 king beds. TV worked well, hot water worked well, AC worked well, they provided soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towel.This hotel has the eighty-nine cafe that offers the vegetarian menu. I had my dinner at the eighty-nine cafe. The staff was friendly. After dinner, I went back to my room and rested.

Day 3

12 January 2018

Puerto Princesa, Philippines

I woke up at 05.00 but because I was still sleepy so I fell asleep again and woke up at 07.00 due to the phone ringing, the hotel receptionist said that the tour guide had come to pick me up. I have just brushed my teeth, washed my face and changed my clothes. I had no time to shower. Hahaha. After picked all the participants, we continued the journey but in the middle of the road, our guide received a call and said that we could not continue to the underground river due to the bad weather. They give the participants choices. The first option changed the tour route from the underground river tour to honda bay tour. The second option changed the tour schedule to the next day. The third option was to cancel the tour and refund based on the terms and conditions. I chose the first option. So 8 participants continued to Honda Bay tour.

            The tour finished late afternoon and I was escorted back to the hotel at 17.00. Upon arrival at the hotel, I got a shower and packed my backpack. I called the receptionist to ask about the shuttle car to the Airport. I checked out and I paid PHP 500 due to late checkout. I ordered ice chocolate while waiting for the shuttle car and the waitress at the cafe asked me to write a note about the eighty-nine cafe.

            The shuttle car arrived at 18.00 and I was escorted to the Airport. After checked in the flight and checked the baggage I headed to the boarding room. There was an announcement that the flight to Cebu was re-scheduled tomorrow morning. I received an email notification as well. I asked the AirAsia officer and they explained it was due to bad weather and they provided a free hotel for that night. I went to the hotel by shuttle car with other passengers. I arrived at the Citystate Asturias Hotel, checked in and I got the spacious room with 3 beds, bathroom with bathtub and the toiletries were available. AC, TV, Wifi worked well. The only problem was my door could not be locked from the outside but the hotel staff swiftly justified it which turned out the battery of my bedroom door was discharged so the hotel staff recharged the battery and the automatic door lock functioned again. I had my dinner at the restaurant hotel and I enjoyed their live music. After dinner, I went back to my room and rested.

13 January 2018

Cebu, Philippines

I woke up at 03.00, prepared myself and packed my bag. I had my breakfast at the restaurant hotel, I checked out,  and  I went to the Airport by the hotel shuttle car. Upon arrival at the airport, checked in flight and waited for the boarding room.

I arrived in Cebu 09.00 and the driver from shuttle daddy was waiting for me. I’ve booked an airport transfer from Mactan Cebu Airport to Southpole Central Hotel on 17/12/17 through www.shuttledaddy.com was PHP 630 (IDR 176.376). I was escorted to the Southpole Central Hotel. I booked this hotel actually for an overnight stay but because of a re-scheduled flight so I did not stay here. I waited for the driver from Island trek tours at the lobby hotel. After I met the driver, I started the journey to the Kawasan Falls. Actually, the package that I bought was a whale shark watching but because the flight was re-scheduled so I had to change my tour to Kawasan Falls. The Kawasan Falls is located in Badian, about 4 hours from Southpole Central Hotel by car. Upon arrival in the Kawasan Falls, car parked in the parking area and I had walked to the Kawasan Falls. I was accompanied by a local guide (I forgot his name). I enjoyed the scenery and took a lot of pictures. I went back to the parking and showered in the toilet there. After that I headed to the Matcan Airport. The journey more than 4 hours due to jammed.
I do not recommend Island Trek Tours. I booked tour with them through klook apps was charged USD 77,44 for whale shark watching. But my tour changed to Kawasan Falls as per our conversation deal.The tour went smoothly at the first.When arrived at Kawasan Falls, I paid again PHP 45 for entrance fee. And after the tour end I paid again PHP 960,57 for fuel (I knew the fuel is not include in the tour) but when the driver dropped me at the Matcan Airport, the driver asked me PHP 1.400 for extra hours ( I did not know about extra hours charge). I feel there was a dishonesty there.
Arrived at Matcan Airport, I checked in the flight and waited at the boarding room. I flew back to Manila on schedule.
I arrived at NAIA Airport terminal 4 at 23.00. Then I ordered a grab car to headed to NAIA Airport Terminal 3 International Departure, then I entered the terminal 3, I slept on a chair on the first floor near the McDonalds until the next morning.

I arrived in Jakarta safely and this trip ended. The trip planned well was changed because of the situation and most of the situations were bad weather. But I still enjoyed my Philippines trip. If there is a chance I will visit the Philippines again. ^_^

The cost on the fifth day was cash IDR 120.000 and IDR 165.000 by credit card

For 5 days in the Philippines, I spent IDR 5.455.338, which was PHP 6.100 and IDR 3.562.838.

Ke Taiwan Tanpa Visa : Cara Apply ROC (Taiwan) Travel Authorization Certificate

            Sebenarnya udah lama sih saya tahu tentang ini, sejak tahun 2016 peraturan ini di buat, udah lama juga pengen ke Taiwan tapi tertunda-tunda mulu. Akhirnya tahun ini pun saya bertekad ke Taiwan karena visa waiver Jepang saya udah mau expired tahun ini. Walaupun sebenernya saya bisa aja sih ngajuin visa waiver lagi selama e-passport saya masih berlaku tapi saya masih belum minat ke Jepang lagi. Kenapa? Karena masih banyak list negara yang mau gw kunjungi.

Apa itu Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC)?

Republic of China (ROC) atau lebih dikenal dengan nama Taiwan. Yup, kita bisa traveling ke Taiwan tanpa Visa. Mungkin tidak sepenuhnya tepat juga sih jika disebut ‘bebas visa’ karena sebenarnya traveler dibekali surat sakti bernama ‘sertifikat otorisasi perjalanan ROC’. Atau dalam bahasa Inggris: ROC Travel Authorization Certificate. Surat ini harus dibawa ketika akan memasuki Taiwan. (Source : https://www.boca.gov.tw/mp-1.html)

TAC ini dapat diberikan bagi warga negara India, Thailand, Vietnam, Filipina, dan Indonesia yang memiliki visa valid dari negara Australia, Selandia Baru, Kanada, Jepang (visa waiver Jepang bisa juga. Apa itu visa waiver? Baca di sini http://kimberliajadeh.blogspot.co.id/2015/09/visa-ke-jepang-mudah-dengan-e-paspor.html), Inggris, Amerika Serikat, atau negara-negara Eropa dalam kawasan visa Schengen bisa berlibur ke Taiwan hingga 30 hari.

Proses pengajuan TAC sangat mudah sekali dan di lakukan secara online tanpa harus datang ke kantor sekalipun.

Syarat untuk WNI sebagai berikut :

1. Mempunyai passport biasa atau e-passport.
2. Harus sudah memiliki visa valid dari negara Australia, Selandia Baru, Kanada, Jepang (visa biasa atau visa waiver Jepang), Inggris, Amerika Serikat, atau negara-negara Eropa dalam kawasan visa Schengen  (Single / Multiple Entry)
3. Jika e-passport harus sudah di registrasi visa waiver di Kedutaan Jepang
4. Passport dan e-passport maksimal masih valid 6 bulan sebelum masa berlaku habis
5. Sudah mempunyai tiket pulang-pergi Taiwan (Pesawat / Ferry)
6. Tidak pernah menjadi TKI di Taiwan

Bagaimana cara membuat Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC)?

Dalam pembuatan TAC ini visa valid yang saya punya adalah visa waiver Jepang karena saya punya e-passport.

Caranya sebagai berikut :

1.       Buka link https://niaspeedy.immigration.gov.tw/nia_southeast/
2.       Pilih bahasa : Indonesia
3.       Lalu klik next
4.       Lalu akan muncul gambar prosedur tahapan pembuatannya, langsung klik next saja.
5.       Akan muncul penjelasan tentang TAC, lalu klik next.
6.       Lalu isi data dengan jujur. Data apa saja yang harus di isi?

a.      Nationality: saya pilih Indonesia

b.      English Name: Isi dengan nama kamu ya. 

c.       Passport No: Isi nomor passpor kamu yang masih berlaku

d.      Passport Expiry Date: Isi masa berlaku paspor kamu

e.       Date of Birth: Isi tanggal, bulan dan tahun lahir kamu

f.       Sex: pilih jenis kelamin kamu

g.      Flight/Vessel No: Isi nomor flight/vessel kamu

h.      Expect Entry Date: Isilah dengan (perkiraan) tanggal masuk ke Taiwan.

i.        Occupation: Isi dengan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan keadaan kalian saat ini

j.        Purpose of Visit: Pilih tujuan kalian ke Taiwan, kalau saya pilih : Sightseeing.

k.      Home Address : Pilih nama negara tempat tinggal kalian

l.        Hotel Name in Taiwan: Isilah dengan nama Hotel tempat kalian stay di Taiwan.

m.    Contact Phone: Isi nomor handphone kalian

n.       Email: Isi alamat email kalian 

o.  Syarat Khusus: Nah ini dia isian yang paling penting. Pada kasus saya, karena menggunakan Visa Waiver Jepang, jadi klik VISA, lalu di field hegara pilih Jepang , dan isilah nomor Visa Waiver.

7.    Lalu klik next

8.      Input kode verifikasi

9.      Lalu klik submit

TAC sudah jadi deh.

TAC jika berhasil sudah di approved

Lalu klik print dan setelah di print, kamu bisa bawa TAC ini, tiket pulang-pergi, paspor kamu, print out hotel yang kamu booked saat memasuki Taiwan. See you soon Taiwan :)
