INDIA TRIP ITINERARY

Hello, Guys :)

I have received question about the India Trip itinirery. So in this post, I would love to share my itinirery. I visited India from 1 to 10 January 2017. I visited 7 cities (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie and Dehradun) in 10 days trip and it was my solo trip. Is is safe to solo travel to India? Is it safe for solo women traveler? Day 1

Arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi India in midnight then went to The Prime Balaji Deluxe Hotel.

Day 2

Checked-out from the hotel in early moring and catched the train going to Agra. From New Delhi to Agra took 3 hours journey by train. Arrived at Agra and explore Agra :

1. Breakfast in the train (free breakfast)
2. Agra Canttonment Station to Taj Mahal (I suggest you to buy the ticket through online to save your time, how to buy it? You could see it on my last post)
3. Taj Mahal to Agra Fort (Tips : Don’t throw your Taj Mahal ticket, you could show it to the clerk in Agra Fort and you would get 50% discount)
4. Agra Fort to Itimad Ud Daulah’s tomb (Baby Taj)
5. Itimad Ud Daulah’s tomb to Mehtab Bagh
6. Mehtab Bagh to Shopping at the Hindustan Textile and Handicraft (Do not shop here due to I realized that I had been tricked. Well, you better find another store)
7. Shopping to dinner at Indiana Restaurant
8. Indiana Restaurant to Sheroes Hangout Cafe at Fatehabad Road (This cafe is founded and run by inspiring women who were victims of acid attacks.)
9. Sheroes Hangout Café to Sidhartha Hotel

Day 3

Checked-out from the hotel, I went to Jaipur by car due to my train came very late. From Agra to Jaipur took 6 hours journey by car. Arrived Jaipur in afternoon and explore Jaipur :

1. Stopped to brunch at Restaurant on my way to Jaipur
2. Jal Mahal (full light in night)
3. Jal Mahal to dinner at Green Pigeon Restaurant.
4. Green Pigeon Restarant to Hawa Mahal (full light in night)
5. Hawa Mahal to Albert Hall Museum (full light in night)
6. Albert Hall Museum to HR Palace Hotel

Day 4

Checked-out from the hotel and explore Jaipur :

1. Hawa Mahal
2. Hawa Mahal to Amber Fort and Palace
3. Amber Fort and Palace to Jaigarh Fort
4. Jaigarh Fort to Nahargarh Fort
5. Wax Museum and Sheesh Mahal in Nahargarh Fort
6. Nahargarh Fort to Jal Mahal
7. Jal Mahal to City Palace
8. City Palace to brunch at The Green Pigeon Restaurant
9. The Green Pigeon Restaurant to shopping at Rajasthali Textile Development Corporation at Amer Road (I recommended this store)
10. Rajasthali Textile Develompment Corporation to dinner at The Royal Treat Restaurant
11. The Royal Treat Restaurant to Jaipur Railway Station
12. Jaipur Railway Station to Haridwar (sleep in the train)

Day 5

Arrived at Haridwar Railway Station in noon, from Jaipur to Haridwar took 13 hours journey by train. Started to explore Haridwar :

1. Brunch at Shivalik Restaurant 
2. Shivalik Restaurant  to Maya Devi Temple
3. Maya Devi Temple to Mansa Devi Temple
4. Mansa Devi Temple to Aarti Point at Har Ki Pauri
5. Har Ki Pauri to Rishikesh
6. Arrived at Rishikesh in night, from Haridwar to Rishikesh took 2 hours journey by car.
7. Dinner and Sleep at Vedas Tapovan Hotel in Rishikesh

Day 6

Checked-out from Hotel and started to sightseeing :

1. Breakfast in hotel
2. Hotel to Laxman Jhula Bridge
3. Laxman Jhula Bridge to Lunch at Buddha Café
4. Buddha Café to Ram Jhula Bridge
5. Ram Jhula Bridge to Mussoorie 
6. Arrived at Mussoorie in night, from Rishikesh to Mussoorie took 4 hours journey by car.
7. I was drinking hot chocolate at Coffee Café in Mussoorie
8. Dinner and sleep at Honeymoon Inn Hotel in Mussoorie

Day 7

I was drinking the hot chocolate at Coffee Cafe while enjoyed the snowfall from the cafe’s window.
Checked-out from the hotel and started the sightseeing :

1. Brunch at Café in the Library Chowk
2. Kempty Falls
3. Kempty Falls to Mussoorie Lake
4. Mussoorie Lake to Dehradun Railway Station
5. Dinner at Dehradun Railway Station
6. Arrived at Dehradun, from Mussoorie to Dehradun took 2 hours journey by car. I just walked around the Dehradun Railway Station.
7. Dehradun Railway Station to New Delhi (sleep in the train)

Day 8

Arrived at New Delhi Railway Station in early morning, from Dehradun to New Delhi took 6 hours journey by train.

1. New Delhi Railway Station to Zostel Hotel
2. Brunch at the Re Café and Bar
3. The Re Café and Bar to Rashtrapati Bhavan
4. Rashtrapati Bhavan to Mughal Garden
5. Mughal Garden to Parliament House
6. Parliament House to Gandhi Smriti
7. Gandhi Smriti to Qutub Minar
8. Qutub Minar to Lotus Temple
9. Lotus Temple to shopping at Dili Haat
10. Dili Haat to Red Fort Delhi to watched the sound and light show
11. Red Fort to Zostel Hotel
12. Zostel Hotel to dinner at the Re Café and Bar
13. Sleep in Zostel Hotel

Day 9

Started to explore Delhi :

1. Zostel Hotel to Jama Masjid
2. Jama Masjid to Humayun’s Tomb
3. Humayun’s Tomb to Zostel Hotel
4. Brunch at the Re Cafe&Bar
5. Took rest in Zostel Hotel
6. Checked-out from the hotel in afternoon.
7. Zostel Hotel to Indira Gandhi International Airport
8. Dinner at Café in Airport
9. Sleep in airplane         

Day 10

Arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in the morning. Welcome home!
